The modern Bamboo-line with the traditional manufacturing

The raw material for this dreamlike collection, with wich you can bring the magic of Bali directly into your living- and sleeping room, comes from the fast growing plantations in Indonesia.

The single poles of bamboo are first peeled, put in lye and dried, before being sorted by diameter to be prepared for processing. Then they are processed by hand to create the furniture of this fascinating line. For the connection of the poles, traditional Indonesian weaving methods  are put to use, handed down and refined over centuries from generation to generation. 

Finally, the pieces of furniture are getting a finish with a special bamboo-lacquer.
